My pressure one weekend was 98 / and 96 / . Normally it is between 100 / 60 and 115 / 70. When my pressure is low I am tired. When my pulse is fast (100+) I am winded. I am on atenolol.

Your systolic (higher number) is on the high side but not critical as far as I measure high blood pressure. I'd concentrate on lowering it by 20 to 30 points. With regards to your question - do I have a problem? - Your doctor would be in a better position to answer that.

Hi, Simon. I have used a ReSPERATE for a few years now. On the advice of an official advisor in America I use it twice a day for 15 minutes. Yes, it does lower B.P. somewhat but I find the effects don't last.
I am wanting some advice on Alistrol, which you have been investigating, I believe. I tried it for a month and yes, it did bring the B.P. down quite well but made me feel not good at all so I gave up on it. I want to know if you have any feedback on this and whether these symptoms are likely to disappear. It seems with me that anything that works seems to have a bad effect. Is this just me or do other people have these problems? There is nothing more I can do regarding lifestyle and diet except work on the belly fat which is taking a long time! When my Dr. told me I might as well not bother taking prescription drugs any more because they made me feel bad and didn't work anyway, he told me there was nothing I can do. I have always disputed this and will continue to do so! I would certainly appreciate your comments on Alistrol. I am already on your radar, sincerely, Cris

I enjoyed reading this. I'm 22 and I exercise and eat healthily daily, yet, I'm still getting readings of 135/95. However, I do stress at times. I'm most concerned about taking medications when I'm older and my metabolism is worse. It's good to know though that some people like yourself are able to keep your BP below 120/80 with such simple methods. Thanks for writing this!

my husband is 78 years old... runs a lunch truck business and works to many hours a day, but we are raising grandkids... they are 9 and 13.. when he see's his doctor he has to rush to get everything done and hit the bank before he gets to the doctors office.. then when the blood pressure is taken is iis higher than norman because of all the rushing.. this last time it was 140 over 79 and his doctor went ballistic... so here come the drugs... i don't want him to do anything that is pharmaceutical... we will do this the natural way... i don't even think he has a problem because the average at home after resting a while will be 120 over 75. of less.......his doctor thinks i am trying to kill him... and he gets upset with me.... i will hang in there doing things the natural way... what is the general concensus on him being put on statins and high blood pressure medicine... not going to do either one of them..

My doctor measured my blood pressure at 135/90, which he said was perfectly fine for a 66-year-old female. My mother had high blood pressure and one of my sisters does, but the other has always had low pressure.

Hi Mary,

I don't sell anything directly from this site. I do recommend sites that you can purchase help to lower blood pressure.

The "cd" you are referring to could be the slow breathing programme called Breatheasy, or it could be Christian Goodman's three exercises, or it could be something else. You'd have to be more clear.

These programs are digital in nature and are downloaded to the computer. You can then burn them to a cd if you wish, although it's usually simpler to play them on your computer.

If you want help in accessing whatever you may have purchased, you're going to have to give me more details. But remember, I don't sell anything from this site myself. I offer advise and help - all free.
