How to Naturally Reduce and Help High Blood Pressure review
UPDATE 2019: This product and website seems to no longer exist.
If you go to the website where you can purchase this blood pressure lowering guide, https://www.howtodropbloodpressure.com, the displayed cover of the e-book is:
How to Naturally Reduce and Help High Blood Pressure
On downloading the book I noticed that the title had now been changed to:
The High Blood Pressure Reversal Cure
So consider this a review for the same guide with two different titles.
Two titles for one guide is a little confusing but the confusion doesn’t stop there unfortunately. Reading the guide is far more confusing.
The stated author of the Guide is Germaine Hudson, living in London England, and on the sales page we are given the picture of a smiling middle-aged woman. In the fine print at the bottom of the sales page we are told that Germaine Hudson is just a pen name.
We are not told who the author but it becomes clear from the first few pages that is extremely doubtful that English is their first language. Basic grammatical errors and confusion of meaning are liberally sprinkled throughout the guide.
Some of the errors are so blatant and potentially misleading that it’s clear that it had never been proof-read by anyone with a sufficient command of the English language.
Just one such example is the advice about salt:
WHAT WE NEED? About 5-6 milligrams of salt a day.
WHAT WE CONSUME? Almost TEN TIMES THAT AMOUNT every.
WHERE DO I PUT THE BRAKES? People with hypertension should restrict their salt intake to about 1500 mg a day.
The above advice, if taken literally, would mean that we can consume 50 to 60 mg per day yet need to up that intake by 30 times. Of course this is wrong. 1,500 to 2,400 mg of salt a day is what is recommended (according to the National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine) but most of us in the Western world consume far more when eating salt-laced processed food and fast foods.
I could give many more examples and basic errors and bad advise but I don’t want to belabour the point. If you need sound information on reducing your blood pressure naturally, don’t waste your money on this book. You can get far better advice just browsing the various topics on this website.
